Green tea lovers, rejoice! Today’s post is to introduce a popular chain of tea houses in Korea called Osulloc (오설록).

If you’re staying at Myeongdong and have a craving for super good Green Tea treats, there’s a big Osulloc Tea House in the middle of the busy myeongdong area.

The teas are from Jeju island, and they even have a Tea Museum on Jeju island itself! Rumor has it that the Jeju branches also have a lot more variety, as well as specially packaged tea sets that are only available in Jeju.

Green tea ice cream – the rich, creamy texture of this.. divine!
Recently bought this set which cost around 25,000 KRW (~25USD), the teas were better than I expected! The aroma was sweet for the fruity teas, but not too overpowering. Highly recommended if you don’t know what to get as a souvenir (or for yourself).

There are quite a number of Osulloc Tea House branches across South Korea, based on the official website there are currently 12 Tea Houses (Tea Houses are the ones which sell packaged teas, as well as serve food/drinks in-house).

Do check out the official website here if you would like to find out more: https://www.osulloc.com/kr/en/store?type=TM&q=
